UU tag: “Birthing Justice: Preserving Reproductive Choice”: On January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court recognized the constitutional right to have an abortion. Since then, states have enacted thousands of restrictions that make it much more difficult for a woman to exercise her reproductive choices. More recently, Texas passed laws that restrict access and even criminalize miscarriages. This is why today, and every day, we must bear witness and commit ourselves for reproductive justice, at the local and national levels. Reverend Robin Landerman Zucker preaching, with materials from the UU Side With Love initiative and worship associate Lise Breakey. We will hear a selection of piano pieces by Austin Shaw.
