The outdoor festival will kick off the spring season in the heart of Scottsdale’s Talking Stick entertainment district from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 8 through Sunday, April 10, according to a press release.

The spring-themed event will feature local and regional artisans displaying fine arts, crafts, home decor and specialty gift items. Live musical entertainment, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, will be provided by The Chacons, a sibling duo playing classic pop and rock songs with a soul and jazz vibe.

Children can create their own artwork and participate in the coloring contest, the statement said.

“Art on the Boardwalk showcases the creative talents of our artists and exhibitors providing shoppers with a captivating mix of specialty art and giftware,” said show producer Dina Giovale of Sundance Creek Promotions in the communicated. “Be sure to ask the artisans for special commission items or customizations to get the perfect size, shape, or color for yourself or your home.”

As Scottsdale’s premier entertainment destination, the Arizona Boardwalk features several popular valley attractions, including the OdySea Aquarium, Butterfly Wonderland, The Science of Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Pangea: Land of Dinosaurs, in addition to several restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.

Attendees can begin their creative journey by purchasing unique creations at the Art on the Boardwalk festival, learning about sea life, butterflies, or interesting science facts. End the afternoon with live performances, participate in a children’s coloring contest and shop more at the art festival, the statement said, encouraging guests to return for a second day.

Art on the Boardwalk attendees will enjoy Sundance Creek Festival shopping with live music, plus weather and desert mountain views. Admission and parking will be free.
